Željka captures cities for themselves, in the way that speaks to her the most – a little bit enigmatic, deeply intimate, without the need to be self-explanatory. We’ll be brave enough to rephrase the poet and say that she feels beautiful while she’s remembering them. Her little memoirs of a world traveler, cosmopolitan, an old soul, give us an opportunity to make our own mental map of those wonderful and distant cities. These sites are giving us more: the insatiable desire to go where she’s heading.
